Need a breath of fresh air? Then why not discover Au 46, a charming bed and breakfast in Finistère ? You will be warmly welcomed by Carole and Pierre, hosts who are very committed to the environment and the preservation of nature. Between the furniture made in France, the natural cosmetics and the delicious vegetal table d’host made with products from the vegetable garden, you are guaranteed to spend a vacation fully oriented towards sustainable tourism. Only 20 minutes from Quimper and Concarneau, Au 46 is also a very well placed address to explore Southern Brittany and the Bigouden country.

Why come to 46 ? >

At 46, you will spend your nights in a renovated former ballroom. The eco-responsible gite has 3 rooms fitted out in mezzanine, offering 6 meters of height under ceiling and being able to accommodate up to 4 people. Spacious and comfortable, everything is gathered so that your nights in Brittany are the most pleasant possible.

In order to take this approach to its logical conclusion, the hosts have chosen custom-made beds in Quimper, as close as possible to the guest room. The household linen is also made in France and the cosmetics are made from organic and natural ingredients.

What to do around this bed and breakfast in Finistère ? >

A pleasant mix of countryside and ocean, is what a stay at 46 has in store for you. You can explore the Perguet church at the bottom of the garden, as well as choose a green spot to relax around the house. But remember: you’re in Brittany. So the ocean is not far away! The salt water is almost accessible by foot, with the Kerler beach at 3 km from the guest house. Between sunbathing and swimming, you’ll have enough to recharge your batteries and enjoy your stay.

For cultural discoveries, but still with a sea air background, you can stroll in the village of Bénodet, not far from there.  Then board a ferry to explore the pleasant fishing port of Sainte-Marine. Heading east, the charming seaside resort of La Forêt Fouesnant awaits you. A little further, in the Bigouden country, visit Pont-l’Abbé and its imposing castle. Don’t miss Quimper either, a city with a rich artistic and historical heritage.

Finally, la Pointe du Raz, a small part of the world in the Finistère Sud, will allow you to take a breath of fresh air and enjoy the spectacle of nature on this preserved part of the Breton coast.
