PROGRAM

DAY 1 / SIEM REAP

Afternoon: arrival at Siem Reap airport from xxxx with the flight number xxxx at xxx (to be confirmed).
You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred by private car or minivan to your hotel, check-in and installation.
Depending on your arrival time, departure by tuk tuk to discover the Angkor temples from the sky, aboard a tethered balloon.

Floating village

DAY 2 / SIEM REAP

Morning: after your breakfast pick-up by tuk tuk with your English-speaking guide and departure to attend a private cooking class in a traditional house on the outskirts of Siem Reap.
Lunch: prepared by you (included)
Afternoon: After lunch, in a private tuktuk with your guide departure to a floating village on the Tonle Sap lake for a boat ride in the village, followed by a ride in small boats in the flooded forest (depending on water level and the season).Back to Siem Reap at the end of the day
Dinner: Khmer traditional arts dinner show

DAY 3 / SIEM REAP

Morning: breakfast and early morning departure by private car with your English-speaking guide to buy your Angkor tickets. Visit of the Angkor archeologic park starting with the famous Ta Prohm followed by Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei also called “citadel of the women” located about 20 km north of Siem Reap.
Lunch: in a restaurant close to Banteay Srei (included)
Afternoon: after lunch visit a silk preservation centre (www.goldensilk.org). Then, transfer to your homestay to enjoy some free time before the owner shows you the surroundings of his village and the projects he is carrying out to support the local community.

Angkor Wat

DAY 4 / SIEM REAP

Morning: Very early departure with your tuk tuk and English-speaking guide to watch the sunrise on the Angkor Wat site. Breakfast and visit of the latter. Then go on by mountain bikes through the jungle towards the city of Angkor Thom visiting the Elephants Terrace, the Leper King and the Bayon temple.
Lunch: Lunch in a traditional private house in Sras Srang (organic cuisine). You will enjoy a well-deserved chilling time before leaving, far from the crowd.
Afternoon: After lunch and your break, back on your bike or tuk tuk, at your own convenience, to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to relax.
Dinner: at your homestay followed by the Phare Circus show (both included)

DAY 5 / SIEM REAP – KAMPONG CHAM

Morning: After your breakfast, early departure by private car to Kompong Thom province and then Kompong Cham province (6h drive in total)
Lunch: Local lunch (free – not included)
Afternoon: Along the way, you will visit the recently listed UNESCO World Heritage Sambor Prei Kuk temple complex before continuing to the village of Chiro located near Kampong Cham.
Dinner: At the NGO’s restaurant (not included)

DAY 6 / KAMPONG CHAM

Morning: After your breakfast, go by bike for a free ride in the countryside. If you want to, you could cross the Mekong river to visit a small island still preserved from tourism and very authentic.
Lunch: At the NGO’s restaurant (not included)
Afternoon: departure by tuk tuk to visit the temples of Wat Nokor Bachey, Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei and the NGO Amica.
Dinner: At the NGO’s restaurant (not included)
Night: OBT Chiro

DAY 7 / KAMPONG CHAM – KRATIE

Morning: After your breakfast, departure by private car to the province of Kratie.
Lunch: Lunch on arrival (free – not included)
Afternoon: Free
Suggestion: Head to the pier to reach Koh Trong Island located on the other side of the Mekong River and walk around the island.
Return with the last ferry to Kratie.
Dinner: At the NGO’s restaurant (not included)

Mekong-River-Dolphin

DAY 8 / KRATIE

Morning: Early departure before your breakfast for a kayak tour along the Mekong river to meet the Irrawadi dolphins.
Lunch: Free – not included
Afternoon: After your lunch, departure with your driver to visit the Phnom Sambok pagoda. Return to town and free time.

DAY 9 / KRATIE – PHNOM PENH

Morning: After your breakfast, departure by private car with your driver for the capital city, Phnom Penh (5 hour-drive) Check-in at the hotel and free time for the rest of the day
Lunch: at your hotel upon arrival (free – not included)
Suggestions for the afternoon: visit of the Russian Market, the Royal Palace, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum…
Dinner: in town or at your hotel (free – not included)

Phnom Penh

DAY 10 / PHNOM PENH – KEP

Morning: After your breakfast you will enjoy the morning and a special visit with your guide for an unusual tour of the central market and the Protectorate’s Phnom Penh.
Lunch: Free – not included
Afternoon: Departure by car with your driver at the very beginning of the afternoon, to the south coast and the small seaside and charming town of Kep. Check-in at the hotel and departure around 4pm for a boat trip in the mangroves at sunset. Dinner: in town or at your hotel (free – not included)
Night : Kep Eden

DAY 11 / KEP

Morning: After your breakfast, departure by tuk tuk with your guide for a day of sightseeing in the heart of authentic Cambodia to discover a pepper plantation, Changkar Bey lake, the Cambodian countryside and its secrets… Lunch: Local lunch (included)
Afternoon: continuation of the visits and back to your hotel at the end of the afternoon Dinner: in town or at your hotel (free – not included)

Kep

DAY 12 / KEP – PHNOM PENH

Morning: Free time to enjoy the beach or the swimming pool of your hotel. Suggestion for the morning: pick up by tuktuk at the hotel for a private tour on a traditional Khmer fisherman boat with an English-speaking guide, to discover the archipelago islands and the surrounding fishermen’s villages (not included). Lunch: Local lunch (included in the tour if you choose this option)
Afternoon: Check-out and departure from the hotel by private car to reach Phnom Penh’s international Airport to catch your returning flight (time to be confirmed).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The rooms selected are double rooms of standard category.
  • The indicated rate is valid until end of April 2021 except during the period from December 20, 2020 to January 10, 2021.
